I want to let everyone know that I’ve changed my email for this site to actownrecord@gmail.com. I’m more used to gmail and I couldn’t get the hang of yahoo. The only reason why I had a yahoo email in the first place is because when I tried to make a gmail one, it kept saying I was too young for some reason. It worked this time, and I think this email makes more since because it’s for the name of my blog, not the name of one of my main AC:WW characters. 😛 Mail from twiskac@yahoo.com is being forwarded to my new email, but I’m going to stop that at some point, so make sure to use the new one.

Also, I’m kind of torn on what to name my second AC:WW town now, so I hope you can help me out by voting in this poll:

This is a WiFi-heavy post because my own town is actually several days behind. :/ (I only time-travel in Dafdilly when I’m catching up after not playing for a few days, so I don’t lose flowers and such.) Another reason is because my town is under construction; I plan on re-arranging all my flowers (they’ve been pretty much the same for a while now) and I’ve been working on new patterns on the computer. The only ones I’ve tested in my town so far are for my new side path:

I figured since my main path is cobblestone, my side paths should also be cobblestone rather than brick.

This version is for grassy areas with lots of trees, but I don’t like it as much as the plain one on dirt. It bothers me how obvious the edges are, so I’m probably not even going to end up using these side paths. :/

Not long after transferring Peanut to Kammile’s town (covered in my last post), she had another free spot in her town for another dream neighbor to move in from one of my extra gamecards. 😀 She gave me a list of her favorite neighbors and I resetted until one of them showed up. Fortunately, it didn’t take long for Goldie to show up in one of the towns, and it didn’t take too much time-travelling to get her to move out either. If there’s a neighbor you’ve always wanted in your town, I’d be happy to use this method to help move him or her in — just let me know!

Once Goldie was in the ninth slot of this temporary town, my character Violet (the name I will use for my second AC:WW town’s main character) went to Kammile’s town. It’s always nice visiting StarCity because Kammile constantly changes things up and adds new patterns. 🙂 (Ignore the time-stamp, she time-travelled ahead to free up a spot so that Goldie could move in immediately.)

Like this new fountain she made, which is near the gate à la City Folk.

Woah, lots of money here! 😯 I assume the money bags are there for convenience in giving to guests(?), but I didn’t take any. 😛

Kammile’s made a beautiful park on her island! I was actually planning something similar for mine (well, a fountain and maybe a few benches), but I don’t have nearly as much room. 😆

Another fountain is in the center of her park. I love the little adnornments on the fountain and I think she did a great job modifying my brick side paths to match the new grass!

The jacob’s ladders work really well here, I like this spot a lot. 🙂

And also the cosmo garden right below it and near the beach.

I liked the spot so much I decided it was a good place to blow the dandelion I was holding. 😛

But this is my favorite spot of all in her park, I just love roses in AC:WW because they come in the most amount of colors. 😀

She was kind enough to lend me money to get a haircut — thanks! This is the haircut I plan on using the most for my main character (the real Violet :P) in my second AC:WW town, Trildale/Nimrodel.

I got a clearer picture of this, but like this one because of Kammile’s cute smile 😛

I’m glad I was able to get this weird, juxtaposed picture when we both stepped out of Nookington’s: my head, Kammile’s shirt and hat, both of our roses, my cosmo, etc. 😛

Then she wanted to visit the temporary town where her Goldie came from. Even though there’s not much to do, she says she likes to see new towns, which I agree with; seeing all the different maps makes resetting less boring. 😛

We both liked the bright trees (that were a result of time-travelling ahead until Goldie moved out).

Ooh, Bob’s in this town! He’s one of my own dream neighbors. 😀 (I know I could get all my favorite neighbors quickly by doing this same method, but I figure it would be too easy and I would miss out on meeting different animals.)

On Thursday she had another free spot after kicking out Alfonso, and this time Puddles was the first of her favorite neighbors to show up while resetting. She came over to the temporary town first this time, saw Mitzi as one of the residents and immediately wanted to go see her:

It’s fun trying to find all the dandelions in these neglected, temporary towns, but we never time blowing the dandelions correctly. 😆

Well, all of the neighbor transfers have worked so far, I believe. 🙂 And now we’ve arrived at today, my first four-person WiFi session in a while.

Kammile opened her gates this morning, so I was off to StarCity again, where I met Jemma and a new friend, Nigra from Tropica. 😀 She’s thinking of making a blog, so I hope we see a lot more of each other. Edit: She’s made one!

I was actually the fourth person when I first arrived, but unfortunately WiFi crashed a few times >_<, so this was later on.

What a greeting, sorry Jemma 😆

We moved our net fight to this ring of trees, the proper arena Kammile set up. 😈

I like this dense wooded area near her waterfall (I wish I could get my trees this orderly; hers are perfect!) and her new snail constellation! 😀

After another WiFi crash, Nigra invited us to her town Tropica! I was the first to arrive and admired her lovely blue cobblestone gate and appropriate town flag.

Jemma and Kammile arrived soon after and here we all are at the gate! 😀

Nigra guided us straight to her house, but…

Kammile and I couldn’t get in, so we waited patiently outside for our turn. 😛

What an amazing entrance with those Ionian columns! 😯 I love it! In my art history class we’re studying the three ancient Greek architectural orders, Doric, Ionic, and Corinthian, so it’s pretty cool seeing them in AC:WW. 😆

Her left side room was unique and vibrant, and the gyroids added so much to the music.

I met up with Jemma in Nigra’s exotic right side room. I get an exotic vibe from her whole house, actually, especially with the music choices!

I enjoyed trying out all the instruments in her back room 😛

Resting under the canopy in her upstairs mush room 🙂

Jemma had to leave to do schoolwork, and I should’ve probably followed her example (I have a lot of work to do this weekend!), but I thought I could stay a little while longer. 😛

Nigra has several amazing Zelda dresses that she showed us:

And then we set off sparklers I brought at the beach 😀

I was eager to visit Kid Cat since he’s one of my favorite neighbors (I want him in Dafdilly one day), but it looks like he’s moving. 😮 Good luck in convincing him to stay; make sure to select the first option (something like “Don’t go!”) until he says that he’ll think about it or that he’s lost his passport.

Yay, I got to meet Nigra’s Kid Cat, who’s actually from a different town. I like that town name, Meadow 🙂

After playing a few games, like shaking all the trees to see how many bells we could find and searching for dandelions, I knew after a while I would have to get going and stop procrastinating my schoolwork. 😛 Nigra was offline, so I said goodbye to Tropica by writing on the bulletin board and sending a few letters and then went home. Thanks for having me over, Kammile and Nigra, I had a great time and I hope we can do it again soon. 🙂 Also check out Kammile’s, Jemma’s, and Nigra’s posts on the day!
Hopefully I’ll get my town in order this week and I can finally have visitors over to my own town again. xP

  1. Whoa! I love your side path! ^^ That’s why i’s under construction.. Your not sure of your new side path? 😛

    • and… Can i borrow the Snail Constellation Pic?
I need for my new post and i forgot to take a pic on it.. 😳

      • Sure you can!
That’s not the only reason it’s under construction; I also have misplaced flowers, am working on new patterns, and have stuff all over the ground from when I was re-designing two rooms.

  2. Hi! 😀 I´ve been reading your blog for a month now, and it´s awesome! Keep going!

Btw, I think it was funny that your upcoming haircut for Violet is just the same as the one I use for my character with brown eyes. 🙂

    • Thank you Malena! 😀 Haha yeah, I think it’s a nice hair & eyes combination and it’s about as close as I can get to having an AC:WW character look like me. 😛

  3. […] See Amy’s Post here. […]

  4. Well thanks anyway!
I can not have a blog to AC: WW I guess because my parents would not let me because it would say that is too much, since I have to study!
Well we can make a deal, your comment much on my blog and get involved in things Harry Potter and I discussed a lot in your blog and get involved in things in AC: WW, you think?
I hope you like the deal! xD
PS: Just one question, your blog is down? Because the mine if …. much!

  5. […] post: http://actownrecord.wordpress.com/2011/10/22/wifi-meetings-and-neighbor-transfers/ I also heard that Nigra is gonna create an acww blog too!!! Yay! So I just took this pic of how […]

  6. Wow! You really got some great pics of the WiFi meeting! 😀 I had a lot of fun with you Amy! I wish I followed your example Amy! Seems like you had so much fun when I left (do I have boring issues? 😕 😆 )
I linked to this post as I couldn’t get great pics with the BlackBerry, hope you don’t mind! 😉
I’m glad you could get some pics of Nigra’s house! It was really a masterpiece 😆
How’s that pattern page going? I’m sure you’re great at designing! 😛

    • I had fun, too, it was great to WiFi with you again and I hope we can do it again soon. 😀 Aww, of course not, the reason why it seems that way is because we had to come up with new things to do after exploring her house. 😛
The pattern page is coming along slowly because I haven’t had much time to work on it. >_< I'm still making the instruction templates for each palette, which is slow and tedious work. -_-

  7. Ow! Really cool post! I voted Nimrodel ‘cose the name is good and I love the Lord of the Rings! 🙂
How it’s your pattern page? I hope it’s good! 😛
BTW I have 3 new pages on my blog
This: http://hpandmore.wordpress.com/production-of-films/snapes-puzzle/ ( a snape’s puzzle really cool, but difficold)
    This: http://hpandmore.wordpress.com/production-of-films/my-videos/ ( my videos 😆 )
    And this: http://hpandmore.wordpress.com/production-of-films/recipes-for-potter-fans/

    Hope you like! xD

    • Thanks for voting! I was hoping the poll would help with my decision, but the votes are tied. 😛
I’ve mostly been too busy to work on the patterns page, so not much progress >_<
I've seen the last two, but not Snape's puzzle, I'll check it out.

      • The chances of wining of the both town names are very similar 😛
        Good luck!
Can you post a comment on my new pages! Thanks ^ ^

  8. Meadow is my sisters town name.
Maybe you can visit them sometime! 😀

    • Btw, check out my pictures!
      http://acwwdairy.wordpress.com/

      • That would be cool 🙂
Oh wow, I’ll definitely check them out, a good start to your blog!

  9. Hey, Halloween it’s coming soon! Yay! ^ ^
I just wanted to let you know, I’ve added more news in my last post because they were too cool to not put them in a post, and would not make another one, and one just published, so edit the post.
I hope you like and you can comment 😛
PS: How is the name’s battle? Who wins Nimrodel or Trildale ? 😛
    I hope Nimrodel 😆

    • It looks like Trildale is winning by a fair amount. I think Nimrodel is the better name, but I did make Trildale up myself, so that’s maybe a reason I should use it.

      • Oh yes I think thats a biiiig reason! ^ ^
Well please visit my blog, theres a new video in my last post really funny! 😆

  10. lol, Trildale’s winning, You know, It doesn’t really matter, Pick what you like the best, 🙂 Since i like Nimrodel, I might pick it as a town name if i were you. xP
Well, As long the town is already made… YAY! Can’t wait to see the TRUE Violet!

    • I’ll probably go ahead and use Trildale as the name for this second Wild World town, but I’ll keep Nimrodel in mind for maybe my CF town.

      • Oh great! Nimrodel as your CF Town! ^^
You’ll probably get CF sooner! and i’ll get Wii for Christmas. 😆
        I can’t wait. I wish i could time travel. 😆
