Citàlune town tour: Moon side
« Previous in AC:NL | Next in AC:NL »
I finished Citàlune! :’) I’ve worked on this town for years, but around Autumn 2017 I got a fire lit under me to work towards finishing it once and for all. If you would like to visit yourself first without being ‘spoiled,’ feel free to give Luna the address 4F00-001F-F5E6. But if you’d like to tour the moon side of town with me, read on! (Photo-heavy content ahead)
Diving into the new update

Well, I think it’s about time I tell a little about my first experiences with the new New Leaf update that dropped a little over a month ago! I think we can all agree that the scope of the update was more than expected, and impressive with all that was added.
Citàlune re-opens its rusty gates

My first WiFi in ages is thanks to Liam! He had the idea a little over a month ago that we have a get-together like old times before he goes back to school with more questionable WiFi opportunities going forward. 🙂
The road to my sun mosaic path

Before the New Leaf: Welcome Amiibo update was released, I was slowly but surely working towards a new dream address update for Citàlune, and as a result, was trying not to shout about every single little change and addition I’ve made to my town too much. But now that the Welcome Amiibo update has dropped, I don’t want to continue to be completely silent from posting about my town and experiences, especially since now it’s looking like I have more work to do before updating my dream address than I did before (like more item collecting).
This sun mosaic path I’m about to share about was one of the things I was once hoping not to share too much about before updating my dream, but since I plan on doing more New Leaf posts here and there, it would be impossible to continue to hide my town’s main path. So I would like to introduce it here in this post first, and tell about the long road to get to the finished version! 🙂
End of April in Citàlune: Goodbye cherry blossoms, Hello azaleas!
« Previous in AC:NL | Next in AC:NL »
The beautiful cherry blossom season may be over, but with the change also comes new blooming bushes around town. It’s nice in a way to return to normalcy and to see Spring continue on. Plus, green foliage suits Citàlune too ^^
Beginning of April: Cherry Blossoms in Citàlune
« Previous in AC:NL | Next in AC:NL »
Instead of splitting April neatly in half for its two posts, I’m going to have one post be for the cherry blossom festival and one be post-cherry blossom festival, since the cherry blossoms are such a lovely and special time of year, and there are so many pictures to share. But before we get to those, there’s the first event of the month, April Fools!
End of March in Citàlune + some Bywater stuff
« Previous in AC:NL | Next in AC:NL »
It’s been a whiiile since I posted on regular town happenings in Citàlune, so if you need to refresh your memory on what happened in the beginning of March in my town, feel free to check out this post again 🙂
We’re starting off this post with a picture of Violet, which I took because of her new ‘dazed dress’ that showed up at Ables’ — which was one of my wishlist items! 😀 I think it looks really cute on her and sort of mirrors the diamond shapes that pop up in her house’s design, both the exterior, and the main room’s interior.
Beginning of March (2014)
« Previous in AC:NL | Next in AC:NL »
The beginning of March in Citàlune has brought festivities and events like Festivale and a new Fishing Tourney. Beautiful weather like golden sunsets and meteor showers have graced the skies. New paths have been laid, and there are hints of new villager changes on the way. Spring truly feels like it has arrived. 🙂
(All of) February 2014
« Previous in AC:NL | Next in AC:NL »
Not enough happened in February to justify splitting it into two posts like I usually do for each month…which was partly my own doing, probably. Despite what I’ve said before about wanting to slow down and savor winter, I might have ended up rushing through this last month of winter, because I kept TTing ahead quicker than usual in the hope that Erik would be the next one to ask to move. But nope, he’s still here, and at this point everyone else in my town has asked to move out (some of them multiple times) since Erik moved in. Recently I heard of the possibility that the newest villager to move into one’s town won’t consider moving out until someone new has moved in. So if that’s the case, I may have to change my determined plan about having Erik be the one to move out next.
Still, there a few events to enjoy in February with Groundhog’s Day and the month’s Fishing Tourney, and the end of February saw a return to a sight not seen for a while: green grass!
