Party in Lilypond

Haha, I feel like with every new WiFi party post, the fact that I haven’t posted on my own towns in a long time becomes more conspicuous. (Well, at least I’ve been pretty good about posting on my WiFi visits, right? >_>) I’m really sorry guys, that I don’t have as much time to dedicate to Animal Crossing and this blog as I would like to. But like I said in my last notice, when I have spare time I’ve been working on my patterns page. It’s something I’ve wanted to do for a long time, practically since I started this blog, so I wanted to dedicate some time to working on that alone. Once I’m done putting up some more spring-suited patterns (I’ll put up the winter and fall ones later), though, I do want to start working on getting my town caught up. Because yes, it’s still in winter, as you can see:

This was at least a few weeks ago, I think. Claire from An Ville came over for a new haircut and we also chatted and had a fishing contest. I didn’t take many pictures but it was a good time. 🙂

Today I went to a party hosted by Anna (some of you may remember her better from my blog as Skye or from ACC as MonkeyDoodle) in Lilypond! 😀

(I’m sorry in advance for the poor quality photos, especially compared to the pictures from the party in An Ville, but for some reason my camera has a lot of trouble capturing AC:WW in the evening. :()

The first thing she did when I stepped through the gate was give me a present, sweet!

It’s a halo! Thanks a lot  And hey there, anime-eye Anna. 😛 The glitch occurred when she was changing accessories and I happened to get a picture.

Aww yay, I think this is the first time I’ve seen someone use a pattern from my patterns page! This is meant to go with the fenced-in pansy border, and that’s why the bricks are rather plain, but it still looks fine by itself and the pansy patterns are probably too complicated to copy.

The first party activity was a game of tic-tac-toe!

Mine are the oranges, and hers are either gyroids or treasure boxes. As you can see, the first game was a draw.

But Anna won the next one 🙂 (she’d picked up a few of the gyroids before I took a picture)

For the third game, I went first and implemented the “corner trick” I remember from when I was little. If you go first in a corner, and your opponent doesn’t go in the middle, you’re pretty much guaranteed to win if you choose a different corner next. Well, I bet everyone knows this, but maybe we were going easy on each other so that every game wouldn’t be a draw. 😆

So I won that one and got a prize of 10,000 bells! Which is a lot, wow, thanks Anna 😀

Anna told me that one of my favorite neighbors lived in her town, so we went to visit…

Hugh! He actually isn’t in my very top tier of neighbors, which includes Melba and Bob, but I like him a lot because he’s unique-looking and I think his facial expressions are always amazing (just a few examples above).

I like his house shape and this house style a lot, too, and wanted to see what other houses she had in Lilypond. I don’t know, it’s probably weird, but I really like the houses in AC:WW, there’s such a wide variety and combinations of different styles and shapes.

I like this second house style, too, yellow stone. 🙂

She pointed out the diagonal formation of her neighbors’ houses, which is awesome!

It’s easier to see on the map:

This is one of the cooler house shapes because of the double roof thingy (lol); Truffles here has it, as well as Rolf, Bluebear, Static, Curt, Mathilda, and probably others I’m forgetting. 😛

I thought there was a nice stone connection with the first two house styles, so I was surprised to see this one, a wooden house style that I have in Dafdilly. It probably doesn’t appeal to everyone, but it’s one of my favorites and I resetted for it, I love the colors and checkered doors.

Okay, enough talking about houses >_<

I heard a mole cricket nearby, they’re always fun to try and catch. I found it in the first hole I dug. 😮

All of a sudden she gave me another present! Thanks so much, I hardly have any gold roses (I think just one), so this is really generous and I appreciate it a lot. 😀

Next we visited a few neighbors, like Goose:

Haha, really…? His house was warm and cozy with all the places to sit and K.K. Country playing.

When we went back outside, Anna and I were morphed! She said it was her first morph so I’ll put several pictures:

Then I met Walker, wow, his eyes are such a bright blue.

Jeopardy was playing on his retro TV and Anna started guessing answers to the show 😛

Then we played another party activity, which was a game to dig up the correct object, a wobbelina. I had three tries to dig up the wobbelina but got it on the first try 😛

For a prize I got a rainbow feather, it’s beautiful 😮 Thank you so much!

She realized she hadn’t shown me her house yet, so led me there. 🙂

Nice regal room, I really like the combination of the regal carpet and blue-trim wall. 🙂

o_O

Worn out, we decided to take a nap.

At first we slept peacefully…

But that didn’t last long xP

Haha, I love our glares here.

Yay, someone else came! I’m glad; it looks like Anna worked hard on preparing the games and prizes, so it would have been a shame if I was the only guest.

I don’t often WiFi with new people, so it was really nice to meet someone new. 😀

Anna suggested a race next, so here we are on the starting line.

I fell in about three pitfalls 🙄

I took so long that Anna called out “Twisk?” like I was lost. xP Good job, Clone, you were obviously better at evading them. 😛

We chatted some and lined up for a group picture, which I think Clone 1 was confused about before we explained. 😛

Then it was time for Anna to leave and party over. Thanks for such a great party and all your wonderful prizes and gifts, I had a really fun time! 😀

  1. O.o I love your posts of WiFi’s lately you had a lot! 😀 Jemma’s party, My party, Kammile’s party… and Anna party!!! Wow!
I love the photo when you and Ana were having a nap with an angry face lol! I ❤ it!!! So.. I have a question in all the towns there are different types of houses right? Because my houses and Anna's houses are different (I meant the neighbours ones)
OMG a rainbow feather is amazing!!!!!¡¡¡¡ You are very lucky! ^^
All the games where funny!! Oh and Anna's map is almost the same as mine!!! It has the same tour of the river (almost) 😀 Cute!
I love how Anna was dressed, like a queen! 😉 Good post Amy! And is good to see you active again!
PS: in your toown is still winter? O.o ?? Or not? The first photo of the photopost is old right? Well I think your town is in spring but just… lol asking 😀

    • Thanks Emma! 😀 Yeah, there are 25 different house styles in AC:WW. Every town has four house styles, and they can be any combination out of the 25. Mayu did a post with pictures of all the house styles, so maybe you can pick out the ones that are in your town. (I know you have the one that she refers to as “Darkblue roof / white-brown wall”) 🙂
My town is indeed still in winter, haha. 😛 Every time I play I set the date back to January so that my flowers don’t die. It’s a result of the months-long break I took, and the difficult, daunting task of catching up through time-travel. But it’s getting ridiculous and I feel pressured to start catching up soon. >_<

  2. Aww, I feel really bad not attending the party, I think the timing was while I was sleeping -.-

Oh well, with so realistic posts, you make me feel I was there! So many pictures, and the party looks crazy fun! 😀 I also love meeting new people on wifi, I bet it was exciting.
Haha, These two pics were super funny, I don’t think I’ve ever had that dialog appear when I was exploring dressers, that’s one of the things I really love about Wild World (or, I guess, any other Animal Crossing), it keeps surprising you the more you play it, more animal pictures, new furniture, crazy dialog or things a neighbor says… 😆

Wow, so many fun games, and you got some great prizes, you even have a rainbow feather! That game sounded fun; 3 tries to get a wobbelina, luckily you got it at your first try, lol.

I guess I should get working on my next post… I’m so lazy!

    • That makes sense, it was 9 PM for me and I think you’re like 6 hours ahead of me.
Haha, I don’t think I’ve seen that dialogue in-game before, but I saw it on one of Teru’s posts. 😛 I wonder what is meant by “it’s been real nice knowing you” 😐

  3. Look like their fun. 😆

Grr.. i didn’t get to attend..
I’m having the same problem as you on Trildale.. It’s been a week now and i haven’t got a nice town yet. T_T .. i hope i get back to AC:WW now..

btw, … Choco will be a boy and Vanilla will be a girl. just a hint for my new characters.. yes.. CHOCO is a boy.. but not the “real life” me.. i’m a girl in real life. LOL.

    • Aww, I’m sorry your town hunt is taking so long. 😦 Yeah, I definitely know how that feels, from Trildale. xP I’m not sure if people even remember about that, but my old posts were always saying stuff like “hope I find the right town for Trildale soon!” 😆 I gave up not only because of the search but because starting AC:CF made me not want to have multiple AC:WW towns. But I doubt you are as picky as I was about Trildale, with such strict requirements, so I’m sure you will find a town soon. Good luck!! Choco and Vanilla are cute names 😀

      • Thank you, I hope i get to find a right town before school starts (at June)
        .
About the multiple towns, I was surprised that you can take care about 4 town (GC, 2 WW and CF) 😆 but turns you can’t .. i can’t even handle 2 towns. 😆
        .
Now that i think about choosing a game.. I’d stick with WW, CF can get easily boring with the animals sticking with the same subject everytime you talk to them, how the flower don’t die easily.. i don’t have much things to do everyday.. and of course, family members also use the TV. 😆

        • Haha yeah, I think I only ever considered taking care of 3 towns (1 AC:WW, 1 AC:CF, 1 AC:GC). By that time I’d mostly abandoned hope for Trildale. 😛
          .
And I’ve stopped playing AC:GC, I just think the newer features make later games much more fun to play. Plus, like you, I don’t have full access to a TV all the time.
          .
I’m trying to handle two towns, AC:WW and AC:CF (obviously not doing a very good job), but I favor AC:WW a lot too. It probably sounds silly, but I stress out over the grasswear in AC:CF (you know how I care a lot about my towns’ appearance), so that takes away some fun for me when playing. :/ Having to worry whether the paths are in just the right widths and places, and only walking off the paths when you have to, never running…. -_-
          .
Anyway… good luck again! I know you miss one of your old towns, but it would be awesome if you could find a town you like even more, so I hope you find it 😀

          • You should really make paths on AC:CF. 😦
Paths help me with the grass wear situation, My town doesn’t have a single flower yet it’s green and the weeds don’t show up everyday.
…. what kind of pattern would you make on CF. hehe, I made my patterns on CF on the first day i got it and immediately put it up and update the patterns whenever i thought of something new to design. 😆 you should compare my first CF post and my latest post about CF (the wi-fi about Liam)
            .
… There’s really no town i find that’s better than StarCity. 😦 I mostly get towns with NO islands, As i said before, the hardest was the little bay-thing where i used to plant my tree of circles.. I really wanted something that unusual. 😆 I always wanted my town to be unique so i don’t give out much of my “original-made” patterns online. 😆 except if it’s a request, i’d carelessly make it for them. LOOOL.
            .
btw, i can’t see you online on ACC. 😥

            • Yeah, paths are the only way you can deal with the grasswear situation in AC:CF, I think, without leaving your town in a desert state. 😦 So far I’ve just made a white/grey brick pattern and a pebbles on dirt pattern for AC:CF. It’s pretty plain but I wanted to do a white color scheme for Seahaven before.
              .
I have actually seen similar layouts over and over again during my resetting (like ones similar to Dafdilly, or just maps that I see repeated), so don’t lose hope, you might actually find one that’s similar. 🙂 But it sounds like you’re not looking for a completely similar layout, just similar features like a place to plant your ring of trees and an island. What I thought was really amazing about StarCity was the size of the island with no signposts! 😯 I see much smaller islands all the time that have one or two signposts. And I don’t think posting patterns makes my town less unique if people use them, I guess I see it differently.

              • I think i have a white color scheme on Ol’ Dale. ;7;

It’s white and all but without the white-ish flowers. LOL, my town doesn’t have flowers…
                .
Your town’s gonna be great, seriously!
Your a great pattern maker. ^^
                I was wondering if you draw? ;u;

  4. Thanks for coming, Amy! Wow, I guess I wasn’t completely expecting you to make such a long post, I need to work on mine, I’ll probably have it up tomorrow.

(I’m at my Grandma’s with my Aunt, and I left my phone [which had all the pictures] and the connecting cable at my house.)

    • Thanks again for the awesome party! Haha yeah, sorry for the length of this post. >_< I should just post on all the main stuff, shouldn't I? 😛 Ooh, you're making your own? I look forward to it 🙂

      • No, I liked the length, I had just expected you to make a shorter one, as I only had you and “Clone 1” show up. I can’t play again for another little while, but for now, I can have my computer again.
