This is pretty random, but I just wanted to let you all know that I can WiFi in City Folk now! For a while my Wii was not connected to the internet. Here’s my information if anyone is interested:
Town: Seahaven
Character: Lyra
Friend code: 3096-7221-5379
But I don’t blame you if you’re not interested, since my town is not very interesting. 😛 And I’m not sure if it ever will be. About a week ago I turned on my City Folk game for the first time in almost a year, and every day or two have played in my town for 10-30 minutes. To be honest, I don’t get the same enjoyment out of playing City Folk as I do when I play Wild World, and I prefer my town Dafdilly to my town Seahaven. I get confused by my City Folk town sometimes, with Nook’s and Ables’ being so far apart, and there’s like 20 house locations in my town! o_o It does not really feel like home like Dafdilly does. The wiimote/nunchuck controls also frustrate me a lot, I wish there was an option to use a different controller. It takes me a lot longer to do things in City Folk that I can do quite speedily in Wild World, like making patterns and watering flowers. Also, I just don’t feel like this is the best time to start trying to complete my catalog and museum, pay off my debts, and raise money for town projects in a game that I’m unlikely to play at all after New Leaf comes out. Maybe a few years ago I would have been excited to play in a new town and character in City Folk, but at this point, starting from scratch kind of stinks, especially because I feel like New Leaf will pretty much have everything City Folk has and more. I might continue to check Seahaven occasionally or I might end up abandoning it again soon…
Anyway, the first person I WiFied with was Choco’s character Serene from Ol’ Dale. 😀 She came over to drop off some flowers to take care of while she’s away on a trip. It feels like those times when your friend or neighbor asks you to water their flowers or care for their pets while they’re away, only in this case it’s for someone who lives in a different country. 😛
She gave me an orange (I accidentally ate it -_-) and 50,000 bells, which I used to splurge on some clothes at GracieGrace and a new haircut to replace my bed hair. 😀 Thanks a lot Serene!
Yes, this is my house. >_<
For comparison, this is what my house looked like after playing in Dafdilly for two days:
A lot of this was from my neighbors! But I feel like my City Folk neighbors never give me anything. So I’m having to rely on Nook more, and he hasn’t been very helpful, stocking random stuff like coolers and outdoor garbage cans.
Finally! 😛 Maybe this will help a bit.
A last picture of Nook’s Cranny, with Elmer. It was so cloudy!
A sunnier day! Serene’s flowers are temporarily making this part of my town quite pretty! ^_^
Yay, Nook ‘n’ Go is open! 😀 The stock is still not very helpful, though.
On March 31st I was just logging in to water Serene’s flower patch, but there was a hopping bunny in my town. 😮
For Bunny Day/Easter there were eggs buried all over my town. When you open an egg, it contains either candy or a bunny foil. I don’t know what to do with the candy, but if you give Zipper the bunny foil, he’ll give you a piece of the egg series in return. I was excited at the prospect of finally having some matching stuff to put in my house and having a dresser to put things in, so I searched for the eggs the best I could. It probably did a lot of damage to my grass, but oh well.
It’s certainly an improvement from before, at least. 😀
I met Daisy in AC:WW recently when WiFing with Marge in Hobbiton, and I said I’d never had her before, but it turns out she’s in my AC:CF town.
A coconut washed on the beach. I haven’t done anything with it yet 😛
Hey Serene, good to see you again! 🙂
She came to pick up her flowers, then she let me go to her town. It was great to get out of Seahaven!
Ugh, my first step into Ol’ Dale, and I picked up a pattern. >_< I fumbled with the buttons when trying to take a picture.
Ooh, a fountain! The City Folk fountains are so lovely. 🙂
While Serene arranged her flowers I walked along Ol’ Dale’s helpful paths to explore the town.
I love the little pond by her gate! I saw some towns with ponds near the gate when I was resetting, and I hoped that the town I ended up with would have one, but it was not to be.
Ol’ Dale’s map is awesome!
Meeting some of Ol’ Dale’s residents:
I wouldn’t mind getting Eloise in Dafdilly. ^_^
Haha wow, she has Daisy too!
Egbert read me a poem. 😛
We share another neighbor: Jitters is in Seahaven as well! 😮
Serene’s house, I think it’s fully expanded ^_^
I love that it’s near a waterfall!
Oh wow, this furniture is sooo nice 😀 I think it is the gorgeous series from GracieGrace, maybe?
And I know what this is, the Princess series! It’s my favorite new series in City Folk, and it’s available now at GracieGrace, but I can’t afford even a single piece of it. >_<
Enjoying this lovely room 🙂
Watching a show with Serene downstairs after she’d finished arranging her flowers, and then it was time for her to go to bed. Thanks so much for having me over to your town, Choco, Ol’ Dale is wonderful! 😀

Haha! I enjoyed this post!
.
I’m glad we get to wi-fi again! It’s been a lot of months since we wi-fied! I miss our old and fun wi-fies in AC:WW and I think we’ll even have more fun when AC:NL finally comes out! Geez, I can’t wait.
.
I’m shocked about the neighbor similarities SeaHaven & Ol’ Dale has! I never knew you had Jitters as well! 😀 (I don’t like Jitters though, I don’t think he’ll stay on my town for too long after hitting him with a net too much. 😛 ) I laughed at Egbert’s poem. 😆 I hope we’ll get a much more fun wi-fi in City Folk soon. 🙂 I was too busy arranging flowers, I got tired. (and it was also getting late!) I’ll arrange a little party soon in City Folk soon. 🙂 Maybe with Liam as well! We didn’t get to wi-fi last night.. I feel a little bad… Anyway, Let’s have fun the next time we wi-fi! ^_^
I’m glad you enjoyed it! 🙂 I enjoyed our WiFis, especially visiting your town, it was nice to get out of Seahaven and visit a more developed AC:CF town. 😀 I look forward to visiting Liam’s too, maybe, if we get around to it sometime… I’m sure his town is great too!
I was also surprised about the neighbors! Seahaven’s neighbors are very hit-and-miss, some of them I like a lot and some of them I don’t like at all. >_<
Ooh wow, I look forward to the City Folk party! 😀 And our future AC:NL WiFis 🙂
( Just pushing my way into your conversation, sorry 😳 )
Sorry again that I couldn’t make it the other day, I’m really unsure on what’s wrong with my Wii when it comes to connecting to the Nintendo servers, it’s never happened before.
I’d love to WiFi with you both again some other time though! I’ll also look forward to the party Choco! 😀 And you’re welcome to come to my town whenever you like Amy! 🙂
Awesome, I look forward to maybe seeing your town sometime! The WiFi party sounds fun as well. 😀 I have a USB keyboard for the Wii, so I can communicate pretty well during WiFi for City Folk now. 🙂
I wondered where Egbert went on my WW when he moved through unfortunate circumstances. Now I know he’s safe and sound in Seahaven for CF.
Cool! I don’t have a Wii, I’ve only ever had handheld systems.
He’s actually living in my friend’s AC:CF town, Ol’ Dale. 🙂 I’ve never had Egbert before! I don’t get many of the chickens…
Thanks for commenting!
Even though I have a Wii, I think I’m more of a handheld system sort of player as well. Love Wild World and New Leaf looks like it will be great

Hey Amy 🙂 I saw this and would love to Wi-Fi sometime, after all, my blog is a bit quiet lately, this would give it a bit of a boost 😛 And I need an opinion on Oakwood’s new look for Spring and Summer, it’s a bit different now 😀
I’m not really sure about the time difference though, but that doesn’t really matter I guess. Most times would be OK for me, hope it’s the same for you 😛
I hope we can meet up sometime 🙂
Oh sure, I would love that! Maybe we could also have a group meeting with Choco, Liam, Usagi, or any other bloggers who could manage to get together. 😀 I actually didn’t know you had WiFi, maybe that was for Wild World though (which has compatibility issues for many). My time zone is North American Eastern Daylight/Summer time, the same as New York. Liam lives in the UK as well and he’s like 5 hours ahead of me, so maybe that’s the same for you, I don’t know.
Cool, I’d love to have a group meeting 😀 Yeah, I don’t have Wi-Fi for Wild World, even though my DSI is compatible with my internet 😕 I prefer City Folk anyway though 🙂
Liam’s time is the same as mine, all of the UK is in the same time zone 😛
I hope as many people would be able to have a group meeting as possible 🙂
I hope so too, it would be fun! 😀 I’m not sure the best way to plan it, but maybe some weekend would be the best time.
Some weekend would be good 😀 I’m not sure how to plan it either, maybe by group email or something similar 😛
Well, it’s the weekend now 😛 A group email is a good idea! I guess the planning kind of depends on who is willing to “host” the group get-together. My town is pretty blank and unplayed in, like a new town (only it’s about a year old now…), so my town is probably not the best for having a fun WiFi. But if you want, and if others can’t get together for a group party WiFi, it would also just be cool to visit your town sometime 🙂
Yes it is 😆 I’d be willing to host it, or maybe one of the others 🙂 Maybe we could go to everyone’s town, like do a certain thing in all of them 😛
It would be fun to have a group WiFi and to just visit each others’ town too 🙂
Well, I guess the weekend is already passing by quickly. 😐 I’m still free on Sunday for a WiFi, though. 🙂 Is there a good time for you on Sunday? And what’s your friend code? (Mine’s at the top of this post)
That’s a good idea about the group WiFi being in multiple towns!
I’m free for Sunday morning, but busy all afternoon 😐 And I’m back to school on Monday 😥
My friend code is 0776 6641 3276 (just so you know even if we can’t meet up today 😛 ) I’ll go add yours right now 🙂
Oh, and thanks, that’s usually what I did with my other friends when they WiFi-ed on CF 😀 It works well 🙂
It’s the morning here and I just woke up, but since your time is ahead of me, it might already be nearing your afternoon commitments. Sorry about that 😦 Maybe it won’t work out this weekend, but some other weekend I hope we can WiFi, at least! In any case, I’ll add you to my roster now ^_^
Well I have until 1pm, and it’s midday now :), so maybe we could fit a very small WiFi in 😛 But if we can’t then the week might be ok, not too sure though it that would work 😕
Oh okay, well I guess it’s up to you if you want to have me over for a quick WiFi and tour of your town today 🙂 But we could also save it for another time, like when there’s more time available or when other people can make it as well. There’s no rush! But I’ll go log into my game and add you right now 🙂
I’ve added you and I’m at the “looking for gates” screen, but it might be too late for it to be worth it now. I’m sorry it didn’t work out this weekend! But yeah, hopefully another time 🙂
Oh I can do it now 🙂 We would only have about 20 minutes but that could still be fun 😛 Maybe we could do a group wifi sometime this week, but shall I get on the wii?
Oh, sure! 🙂
Wait, wrong code -_- 0261 7585 4690 Sorry bout that x|
Hahaha, your bedhead looks terrible. I’m glad AC:WW doesn’t have bedhead or that’s exactly how my main character Sidney would look xP Serene’s flowers look really pretty in your town 😀 The pink tulips go really nicely with your museum and lake/s.
LOL, I’m glad the animals in AC don’t see the Easter bunny as one of their own; from the first time I saw pictures of him, I thought he looked hideous 😆 His furniture set does look cute, though ^^ I also looove the Gorgeous series! I can’t wait to collect it in AC:NL, along with the Rococo stuff. Choco looks like she’s pretty far along with her town in AC:CF!
I’m glad too, because I’m pretty sure my secondary characters that I mostly use for storage purposes would have a constant case of bedhead. 😛 Is the bedhead hair in AC:NL?
It was nice having the flowers there for a little while, getting a taste of what having gardens in City Folk is like. But it takes me too long to water flowers in City Folk, so I don’t think I will ever bother with it too much.
Ahhh, I can’t wait to collect all this stuff in AC:NL too, from the furniture I can’t afford in AC:CF (I guess I’ll finally get the Princess series and such in AC:NL), to the brand new series, and to all the old stuff brought back! 😀
Yes bedhead is still there in AC:NL 😛
It seems like making money is a lot easier in AC:NL (I think due to the addition of perfect fruit and the perpetual summer on the island), so it’ll be somewhat easier to collect the things we want to. The hardest part is waiting for them to turn up 😛
