Yesterday morning I was trying to do too many things at once and accidently dropped my DS, freezing my game. 😮 Of course, Resetti always assumes the worst, that you reset on purpose, so his lectures are annoying if you did it on accident. He isn’t bad the first time, and I didn’t lose much progress, but I still need to be more careful. I’d hate to mess up my game since Dafdilly is basically my dream town. (Well, one of them — still trying to find the right town for Trildale on my other Wild World cartridge 😛 )

Gracie drove into Dafdilly on Wednesday, so it was a busy three days since Redd came Monday and Dr. Shrunk came Tuesday. (The work-week ended quietly with two Pete days, probably, but I can’t be sure because I never seem to be outside/playing when he flies by.)

I had to wait quite a few days to get a replacement villager from when Vesta moved out, but when I finally got to meet her, I was very pleased! ^_^ She moved in today, but I have a few more things from previous days to go into first.

I haven’t been posting as much because I’ve been spending most of the time I have for Animal Crossing trying to find the perfect town for Trildale, but I’ve still been playing in Dafdilly every day, even if it’s minimal. I’ll give a quick update about what’s been going on this week! Last Saturday I scheduled with Lyle for Crazy Redd to come Monday, dropping all my money on the ground so that he couldn’t rip me off with one of his insurance deals. And I forgot to see K.K. Slider’s performance, oops! I bought a red turnip from Joan Sunday morning and tried to buy more with my other characters, but found out you can’t do that. 😦

My new neighbor is Olivia, who happens to be the first Animal Crossing villager I ever met, back in the GameCube version! She’s always been one of my favorites for that reason, and also because her eyes are so big and expressive. I’d rather have new favorites in my new towns than old favorites, though, so I’ll probably let her leave eventually. It’ll be really nice to have a familiar face like hers in town for a while, though! ^^

With the fourth debt paid off, that means I’ll get my first side room tomorrow! I’ll need to rearrange my main room to account for the hole in the wall, and send lots of two-line letters to get new furniture, because I have nothing to put in the new room. Also of note today, we had a visitor in town: the crying lost kitten, Katie — she’s so cute! :3 But Twisk looks like she’s thinking “oh, what a bother!”

I was so happy this morning when I woke up early and realized I could see Nookington’s grand opening! It was the perfect way to experience the moment because as I was walking towards the final store, my town tune chimed eight-o-clock. 😀 Of course, the first thing I did was head to Shampoodle’s to get my hair done!

It was nice (maybe even stratetgic) of Crazy Redd to stop by today, so that there would still be a few furniture pieces for me to browse even though Nookway is closed for remodeling. Redd’s stock today wasn’t super exciting, but I picked up a turntable and a common painting.
