This is pretty random, but I just wanted to let you all know that I can WiFi in City Folk now! For a while my Wii was not connected to the internet. Here’s my information if anyone is interested:
Town: Seahaven
Character: Lyra
Friend code: 3096-7221-5379
But I don’t blame you if you’re not interested, since my town is not very interesting. 😛 And I’m not sure if it ever will be. About a week ago I turned on my City Folk game for the first time in almost a year, and every day or two have played in my town for 10-30 minutes. To be honest, I don’t get the same enjoyment out of playing City Folk as I do when I play Wild World, and I prefer my town Dafdilly to my town Seahaven. I get confused by my City Folk town sometimes, with Nook’s and Ables’ being so far apart, and there’s like 20 house locations in my town! o_o It does not really feel like home like Dafdilly does. The wiimote/nunchuck controls also frustrate me a lot, I wish there was an option to use a different controller. It takes me a lot longer to do things in City Folk that I can do quite speedily in Wild World, like making patterns and watering flowers. Also, I just don’t feel like this is the best time to start trying to complete my catalog and museum, pay off my debts, and raise money for town projects in a game that I’m unlikely to play at all after New Leaf comes out. Maybe a few years ago I would have been excited to play in a new town and character in City Folk, but at this point, starting from scratch kind of stinks, especially because I feel like New Leaf will pretty much have everything City Folk has and more. I might continue to check Seahaven occasionally or I might end up abandoning it again soon…
Anyway, the first person I WiFied with was Choco’s character Serene from Ol’ Dale. 😀 She came over to drop off some flowers to take care of while she’s away on a trip. It feels like those times when your friend or neighbor asks you to water their flowers or care for their pets while they’re away, only in this case it’s for someone who lives in a different country. 😛
She gave me an orange (I accidentally ate it -_-) and 50,000 bells, which I used to splurge on some clothes at GracieGrace and a new haircut to replace my bed hair. 😀 Thanks a lot Serene!
Yes, this is my house. >_<
For comparison, this is what my house looked like after playing in Dafdilly for two days:
A lot of this was from my neighbors! But I feel like my City Folk neighbors never give me anything. So I’m having to rely on Nook more, and he hasn’t been very helpful, stocking random stuff like coolers and outdoor garbage cans.
Finally! 😛 Maybe this will help a bit.
A last picture of Nook’s Cranny, with Elmer. It was so cloudy!
A sunnier day! Serene’s flowers are temporarily making this part of my town quite pretty! ^_^
Yay, Nook ‘n’ Go is open! 😀 The stock is still not very helpful, though.
On March 31st I was just logging in to water Serene’s flower patch, but there was a hopping bunny in my town. 😮
For Bunny Day/Easter there were eggs buried all over my town. When you open an egg, it contains either candy or a bunny foil. I don’t know what to do with the candy, but if you give Zipper the bunny foil, he’ll give you a piece of the egg series in return. I was excited at the prospect of finally having some matching stuff to put in my house and having a dresser to put things in, so I searched for the eggs the best I could. It probably did a lot of damage to my grass, but oh well.
It’s certainly an improvement from before, at least. 😀
I met Daisy in AC:WW recently when WiFing with Marge in Hobbiton, and I said I’d never had her before, but it turns out she’s in my AC:CF town.
A coconut washed on the beach. I haven’t done anything with it yet 😛
Hey Serene, good to see you again! 🙂
She came to pick up her flowers, then she let me go to her town. It was great to get out of Seahaven!
Ugh, my first step into Ol’ Dale, and I picked up a pattern. >_< I fumbled with the buttons when trying to take a picture.
Ooh, a fountain! The City Folk fountains are so lovely. 🙂
While Serene arranged her flowers I walked along Ol’ Dale’s helpful paths to explore the town.
I love the little pond by her gate! I saw some towns with ponds near the gate when I was resetting, and I hoped that the town I ended up with would have one, but it was not to be.
Ol’ Dale’s map is awesome!
Meeting some of Ol’ Dale’s residents:
I wouldn’t mind getting Eloise in Dafdilly. ^_^
Haha wow, she has Daisy too!
Egbert read me a poem. 😛
We share another neighbor: Jitters is in Seahaven as well! 😮
Serene’s house, I think it’s fully expanded ^_^
I love that it’s near a waterfall!
Oh wow, this furniture is sooo nice 😀 I think it is the gorgeous series from GracieGrace, maybe?
And I know what this is, the Princess series! It’s my favorite new series in City Folk, and it’s available now at GracieGrace, but I can’t afford even a single piece of it. >_<

Enjoying this lovely room 🙂
Watching a show with Serene downstairs after she’d finished arranging her flowers, and then it was time for her to go to bed. Thanks so much for having me over to your town, Choco, Ol’ Dale is wonderful! 😀
