The 2.0 update ended up affecting my islands quite a bit, so since I have -er- several, I thought I’d dedicate a post to explaining the path forward for each of them. And also quite a few photos of some of the new decorating work I’ve gotten up to with the update!(more…)
Hello again, long time no post~! Understatement of the century 😅 At one point it was my goal to use this blog for New Horizons gameplay, in the same way as I always did for past Animal Crossing towns and games. But I think I have to face reality that I’ve fallen way behind in sharing about those daily happenings to hope to ever catch up, and honestly, to ever use this blog in quite the same way that I used to. But I’d like to keep using this blog, so I’m hoping for future posts, to skip to a more manageable, recent state of my islands to pick up from!(more…)
This post covers quite a busy time period: our first big event in AC:NH (Bunny Day!), a gorgeous time of year in the form of cherry blossom season, and also glimpses into the opposite hemisphere’s scenery with some WiFi visits. I also make big milestones in my island by inviting my faav, Melba, and unlocking terraforming.
As I expected it to be, it’s been hard to keep up with blogging while also streaming as much as I have been. Pardon the lateness, but I still want to record as many of these early memories as I can. This post is going to cover the rest of March 2020, that lovely bustling period of new openings and construction, new neighbors, and just the freshness of everything still being so new and magical.
I’m titling this post thus, because moreso than any other Animal Crossing game, it really does feel like we are given this little slice of the world to completely make all our own, from scratch, in the most peaceful and beautiful way I’ve ever experienced. In every new ‘main’ town (think the Dafdilly and Citàlune archives on this blog), I think it’s very special to record these early memories so that I can look back on them years down the road. :’) So that is what I’m going to do here~!
